BHAGAT SINGH HOUSE

Bhagat Singh House is one of the most esteemed houses of our school, named after the legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. Renowned for his fearless patriotism and unyielding dedication to the cause of India’s independence, Bhagat Singh symbolizes the ideals of courage, justice, and self-sacrifice. The house not only honors his legacy but also strives to inculcate his values in its members. Bhagat Singh House aims to foster a sense of responsibility, discipline, and social awareness, shaping students into conscientious citizens who contribute meaningfully to society. The house motto, inspired by Bhagat Singh’s ideology, encourages students to think critically, act selflessly, and stand resilient in the face of challenges.

About Bhagat Singh (1907–1931)

Bhagat Singh, one of India’s most iconic freedom fighters, was born on 28th September 1907 in Banga, Punjab (now in Pakistan). From a young age, he was deeply influenced by nationalist movements and the Jallianwala Bagh massacre (1919), which fueled his desire to fight for India’s independence.In 1923, he joined the National College in Lahore, where his involvement in revolutionary activities began. He later became a key member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA), advocating for socialism and independence.

KALAM HOUSE

About APJ Abdul Kalam

The complete name of APJ Abdul kalam is Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. He had born on 15 October, 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. He was the 11th president of India, and became a scientist and worked for DRDO and ISRO. He had done outstanding work on the ballistic missile technology. He had played a vital role in Pokhran-II, India’s nuclear test at Pokhran in 1998. He had also played a key role in the development of the AGNI missile system for Indian defence.

He penned down his autobiography named “wings of fire” in the year 1999.He died on 27 July, 2015 in Shillong.

Significance of “Kalam House”

Kalam house motivates the students or inspire them to work hard, dedication to learning, and as a strong sense of national pride, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their academics and personal lives.

Kalam house is essentially serving as a reminder of APJ Abdul Kalam sir’s legacy as a visionary scientist and leader.

TAGORE HOUSE

About Rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore (May 7, 1965-  August 7,1941 ) was the  youngest son of Debendranath Tagore.

 He is best known as a poet. He was a man of many talents.He was the Bengali poet , short story writer,song composer,play writer, essayist and a painter.

On the one hand, the was the first Indian to win a nobel for literature and on the other  a novelist who wrote and composed on entire genre of songs. In 1913 he became the first Non- European to win a  nobel prize.

Significance of House

The house system and house competitions build community spirit and helps younger students integrate into secondary school life through social interaction and bonding and allows students to learn the importance of team work and to build on their leadership skills.

About Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa was the founder of the order of the missionaries of charity, a Roman catholic congregation of women dedicated to helping the poor considered one of the 20th century greatest humanitarians, she was canonized as Saint Teresa of Kolkata in 2016.

Significance of House

The house belongs to Mother Teresa. The name of Mother Teresa is synonymous to peace and social service. Our house students proves themselves to come by their exertion, speech and everybody learns the thing that the success will learn behind them.
